Accepted input extensions are MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG and FLAC, with a 50MB file limit. The browser must also be able to decode the actual codec inside that file. A matching extension alone does not guarantee compatibility. Protected streaming files, video files and pasted URLs are not supported inputs.
Free export is 128kbps MP3, up to 3 minutes per export, with no signup required. Pro adds 320kbps MP3 and WAV export without the free duration cap. Pro WAV export uses uncompressed PCM at the source sample rate; choosing WAV does not restore information missing from a lossy source.
For example, exporting an MP3 source as WAV avoids another lossy MP3 encoding step, but it cannot recover frequencies or detail already discarded in the original MP3. Re-encoding MP3 as MP3 can add generation loss. Start from the best source you legitimately have rather than repeatedly converting previous exports.
If a file fails to decode, select another supported local file and retry; do not rename a video extension to MP3. Use the editor control guide to shape speed and effects after decoding. This converter exports audio only, not arbitrary media formats or MP4 video.
