Manual Chopped and Screwed Generator

Select one source segment and repeat it once, then slow it down and optionally add reverb. Manual selection, no automatic beat detection. Free: 128kbps MP3, up to 3 minutes per export, no signup.

Audio decoding and effects run locally in your browser.

MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC · up to 50MB · browser decoding support varies.

Choose a local audio file you are allowed to edit. Enter the start and end in source seconds, then explicitly apply repetition. The selected segment appears twice in total: its original occurrence followed immediately by one extra copy. The remaining audio keeps its original order. Applying again starts from the original file; it does not keep stacking copies.

This is one manual selection, not AI chopping, BPM analysis, beat detection, a multitrack timeline or arbitrary rearrangement. The selection must be at least 20 milliseconds and stay within the source. Repetition starts off; turning it off returns to the standard tool behavior.

Use speed to slow the repeated result; pitch lowers along with speed. Add reverb if wanted, or reduce wetness to zero. The editor control guide explains the five sound parameters. To make a straightforward slowed version without selecting a segment, return to the main generator.

Selection inputs refer to source time. Once repetition is applied, the player and seek position refer to output time, including the extra segment and speed change. A 10-second source with a 1-second segment repeated once becomes 11 seconds at 1× or 22 seconds at 0.5×. Changes to the applied selection, repetition, parameters or presets stop and reset this mode; wait for preparation, then press play.

Free export is 128kbps MP3, up to 3 minutes per export, with no signup required. Pro adds 320kbps MP3 and WAV export without the free duration cap. With repetition applied, the free download contains only the first 3 minutes of the final processed result if it is longer; full preview may be longer. Review the displayed output and export duration before downloading. Read the free export limits or the YouTube workflow if you plan to combine the audio with video.

Frequently asked questions

Is the chopping automatic or beat-matched?
No. You manually choose one segment using source start and end seconds. Applying repetition inserts one extra copy, so that segment occurs twice in total. There is no automatic beat detection, AI chopping or BPM matching.
Does applying repetition again add another copy?
No. Each application uses the original source and inserts one extra copy of the selected segment. It does not build on a previously repeated result.
Why do source seconds differ from the player time?
Selection start and end use the original source timeline. The player uses output seconds after repetition and speed changes. A 10-second source plus a 1-second repeated segment lasts 22 seconds at 0.5×.
What happens when I change the selection or sound?
While repetition is applied, selection, parameter or preset changes invalidate the prepared result, stop playback and reset output position. Prepare the current version and press play again. Turning repetition off restores the standard mode.
What is the free export limit for a repeated result?
Without signup, free export is 128kbps MP3 up to 3 minutes per export. If the final repeated and slowed result exceeds 3 minutes, only its first 3 minutes are downloaded. Pro adds 320kbps MP3 and WAV without that cap.
